shrugs... I don't understand the whole cutting off the nose to spite face concept there.

Go ahead, ask how often I actually touch the Metro UI as a programmer merely using the OS as workhorse.

A hint, I use it as no more than overglorified start menu for desktop apps.

The desktop interface was built around multi-tasking, the metro built around an immersive experience, use each for it's pourpose?
